Nature Unplugged is a store unlike any other in New Zealand.  Our philosophy is simple - that body and skin care products that we use every day should be pure and natural. 

Globally there is a growing awareness of the amount of chemicals and synthetically derived ingredients that are in many mainstream skin care products, soaps and shampoos. At Nature Unplugged we seek out top quality natural and organic skincare ranges from New Zealand and overseas for its ever expanding, extremely loyal and discerning customer base.

The Nature Unplugged shop in the Old Bank Arcade in Lambton Quay Wellington is full of wonderful ranges, many of which are hard to find, and some of which are exclusive to us.  The shop itself is a haven of sophisticated styling, warmth and the most wonderful natural aromas.

Consumers today certainly know, understand and care a lot more about the environment and things natural. In the food industry "Organic" is the new international buzzword as the world’s largest supermarkets increasingly reserve shelf-space for products grown and manufactured purely and naturally.   

However, it seems that gone are the days of cottage industry "greenies" dominating this incredibly fast growing market segment. The public appear to no longer accepting of inferior looking products which are priced at a premium solely on the basis of their "organicness".

To be stocked by Nature Unplugged, all products must not only pass a strict definition of naturalness but must also definitely rank alongside the world’s top selling mainstream brands in looks and quality.   All of the natural skin care products are created from raw materials that predominately consist of botanical or mineral origin; with no, or minimal, addition of synthetic fragrances, dyes, coloring or preservatives.

It not just the vast range of natural skincare ranges available that makes Nature Unplugged unique.  We also offer Pure Indulgence Facials in Dr Hauschka, MV Organic Skincare, Trilogy and Antipodes as well as an extensive range of massages including Hot Stone Maggase using Pure Fiji porducts.   Each of these ranges facial treatments require the staff to undertake extensive and specific training to deliver a unique facial experience.

No concept such as this would work however without trained and knowledgeable staff, and it is for this reason that Nature Unplugged we insist on employing staff that have beauty therapy training.   Ongoing staff training also has a very high priority at Nature Unplugged and all of the staff have undertaken extensive training in the ranges stocked and treatments offered in addition to their beauty therapy training.
